Gems of North & Central India Itinerary

1. Day 01: Welcome to Delhi.
   
   As you arrive at the IGI airport in Delhi, our representative will greet you in a traditional way with a garland showcasing the warmth of true Indian hospitality. You will be then transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
2. Day 02: Delhi: The National Capital
   
   After breakfast, you will be taken on a sightseeing experience in Delhi, the national capital. Delhi has seen some major events in history and houses numerous historical wonders narrating tales from some major dynasties. First you will visit Qutub Minar, world’s tallest minaret standing at a height of 72.5 meters (237.8 ft). Thereafter, visit the majestic Humayun Tomb raised in the memory of Mughal emperor Humayun in1562. Your next visit will be to the Lotus Temple also known with the name of Bahá’í House of Worship. This temple looks like a lotus and is open to all, regardless of religion, caste and creed.Your next place of visit is Raj Gath, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. During evening hours, you will visit Chandni Chowk, the oldest marketplace of Delhi. At night, drive past the gleaming President House before you reach your hotel for an overnight stay.

3. Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur drive: Driving into History
   
   Breakfast at your hotel and later take a drive to Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan. Check into hotel for 02 nights stay. The day is free to explore the rich cultures of Jaipur on your own. The city has vivid charms of history and showcases the richness of Rajasthan’s cultures.
   Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
4. Day 04: Jaipur: The Pride of Rajasthan
   
   A splendid breakfast at your hotel and take a drive to the Pink city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. The city has numerous historical charms and takes you deep into the memory lanes. The day starts with a visit to Amber Fort adorning the skyline of Jaipur city. The fort can be reached on an elephant’s back and looks majestic with attractions like Diwan-i-Aam, the Diwan-i-Khas, the Sheesh Mahal, and the Sukh Niwas.

   Later walled city tour by walk: The sightseeing tour starts with City Palace, a majestic palace flaunting a mix of Rajasthani and Mughal art and architecture. Next you will visit the Jantar Mantar, housing nineteen architectural astronomical instruments set up here by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II. Hawa Mahal of Jaipur is a must visit place standing right in the city center. This red and pink sandstone monument has 953 small windows which were once used by royal women to observe everyday life and festivals celebrated in the street without being seen.Evening is free to explore the vibrant Bangle street of Jaipur city brimming with beautiful bangles, spices, Rajasthani attires, juttis, and much more. The day ends at Ramachandra ji temple with a beautiful city view.

5. Day 05: Jaipur – Agra drive
   
   After breakfast, take a drive to Agra. En-route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a city of great historical importance. It was set up by Mughal emperor Akbar in the year 1570 and houses numerous wonders belonging to that era, including Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal.On arrival, check into the hotel. Later get ready for an amazing Taj Mahal. This is an epitome of true love built by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. This mausoleum shines bright in white marble and it has earned a place among the New7Wonders of the World. Also, explore the markets around to shop some beautiful souvenirs to take back home.

6. Day 06: Agra – Orcha Drive
   
   Get ready for an amazing Taj visit by sunrise. Taj offers you numerous opportunities to capture some breathtaking pictures. The monument narrates numerous stories of the past and looks even more beautiful at sunrise.Reach your hotel for breakfast and leave for Orchha. On arrival, check into hotel for an overnight stay.
7. Day 07: Orchha – Khajuraho: A Vivid Marvel of History
   
   After enjoying your breakfast, enjoy an escapade to the grand Fort complex which looks like a magic. Also, enjoy vistas of the beautiful Jehangir Mahal’s intricate and unmatched architecture. In the afternoon, continue your drive to Khajuraho temples. Check into the hotel on arrival and rest for a while.In the afternoon you will explore he historically rich Khajuraho Group of Monuments which remain the most remarkable mélange of Hindu, Buddhist and Jain temples in the state of Madhya Pradesh. These were built between 950 and 1050 and house ancient sculptures with intricate details. Today only about 25 temples have survived which make many jaws drop with their erotic sculptures and sexual themes.

8. Day 08: Khajuraho – Varanasi: Get Drenched into Buddhism
   
   Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and later transfer to airport to catch a flight to Varanasi. As you arrive in Varanasi, you will be received by our representative & transferred to hotel to unwind.During afternoon hours, get ready for an excursion to this city oozing serenity and spirituality. Varanasi holds great importance among Hindus and remains one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on earth. You will visit Sarnath where Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Sarnath is a famous Buddhist pilgrimage destination visited by numerous Buddhism followers from all over the world. Evening prayer conducted here is extremely soul soothing.

9. Day 09: Varanasi: The Soulful City
   
   The day starts with a soothing boat ride on the pristine river Ganges to spot beautiful sunrise. Later, return to your hotel for breakfast and get ready to explore the city of Varanasi. The city is a charmer for those who believe in the seamless powers of spirituality. Visit the ancient ghats of Varanasi where devotees can be seen performing various rituals. Also visit the local bazaars of Varanasi which tell a lot about the history of the place while treating you with lip smacking street food.Return to your hotel for an overnight stay

10. Day 10: Varanasi – Delhi by Flight.
    
    After breakfast, you will be transferred to Varanasi airport to catch a flight to Delhi from where you will continue your journey to your onward destination.
