Kerala in 10 Days

On arrival at the airport, our company representative/driver meets you and takes you to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight at Cochin.

Morning breakfast at the hotel and city tour; the sightseeing shows you the prominent landmark of Cochin, viz., the Jewish Synagogue constructed in 1568. This is the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth. Known for mid-18th-century hand-painted willow-patterned floor tiles from China, ancient scripts on copper plates, etc. Visit the “Dutch Palace” with its wonderful murals depicting the entire story of the Ramayana and Mahabharata on its walls. Afternoon drive to Athirapilly, check into hotel for 01-night stay.

After breakfast, visit Athirapilly waterfalls and Vazhachal falls. Later, drive to Munnar; on arrival, check into the hotel for a 02-night stay. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. This is where you fill your holidays with quiet moments at 1600 meters above sea level. Relaxing within the cool stillness of thirty-odd estates fanning out across the expanse of the hills. Your visit includes Pothamedu, which offers an excellent view of tea, coffee, and cardamom plantations; Devikulam, an idyllic hill station with its velvet lawns and exotic flora and fauna; and Pallivasal, the venue of the first hydroelectric project in Kerala. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. On arrival by noon, check in at the hotel. The most renowned destination is the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary at Thekkady. Here is the natural habitat of elephants, tigers, bison, spotted and sambar deer, gaur, etc. The sanctuary is open throughout the year. Evening game viewing by motorized boat at Periyar Lake. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day free for one’s own. OR Optional activities. Half-day Bamboo Rafting in Periyar / Elephant Program (1-hour elephant ride / elephant bath & shower / timber dragging / photo session / feeding / tea / coffee)

After breakfast at the resort, transfer to the Kerala traditional houseboat.(Kettuvallam) The houseboats of Kerala offer exquisite holiday experiences. Every Kettuvallam (houseboat) has a drawing cum dining room, a bath-attached bedroom, a sit-out, a sundeck, and a kitchenette. The water web slowly opens up its secrets to you: lush paddy fields, pregnant palms, and singing Siberian ducks. This will be your memorable experience. The houseboat will cruise through the Vembanad Lake and canals to Alleppey. The visit includes Pathiramanal, Champakulam Church, R & L Block Kayal, etc. Overnight at the Houseboat.

After your breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and proceed to Cherai. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Leisure and overnight at hotel.

Day at leisure to relax on the beach. Overnight at the hotel.
