06 Days Magical Himalaya Itinerary
- Day 01: Delhi – Leh by Flight
Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day rest to adapt to the high altitude wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the Hotel. Lunch will be served at 1.00 PM, late afternoon (if feels fine with the altitude) visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Market. Overnight Hotel. - Day 02: Leh – Sangam and Indus valley.
Morning proceed for sightseeing of Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar river), Spituk Monastery and Hall of Fame. After lunch visit Stok Palace and Thiksey monastery. Overnight Hotel. - Day 03: Leh – Nubra valley.
Morning we drive to Hunder (135kms/ 5-6hrs.), over crossing the World’s highest motorable road ranging at 5,602 Mts./ 18,380 feet – Khardung la. On arrival explore the white sand dunes and enjoy the double humped Camel ride. Overnight in Camp. - Day 04: Nubra valley – Leh.
After breakfast visit the giant open Buddha statue at Deskit monastery and later continue drive back to Leh. Overnight in hotel. - Day 05: Leh – Pangong lake – Leh.
Leh to Pangong Lake to Leh (320 Kms) After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft.,it is the third highest motorable road in the world. 1200 hrs. arrive Pangong,it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China . Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake . Drive back to Leh by the same route. O/n Hotel. - Day 06: Leh – Delhi.
Transfer to airport and fly back to Delhi with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
